I really like how OkCupid shares their statistical data. In this report, they correlate ethnicity with reply rate. The conclusions? Women of African descent reply the most but get the least replies. White men get the most replies but reply the least. White women and those of Asian and Hispanic descent prefer white men. The latter two groups prefer white men significantly more than other men in other ethnic groups, even their own.

Of course, the facts behind these figures are up for debate. The preference for white men among certain groups may be cultural. It could also be that white men make up a statistically larger portion of users on OkCupid. Because of this, women from other ethnic groups may be more open to replying to them. Regardless, there’s some interesting data to chew on.
