I first saw this chart a few years ago and have since used it numerous times to explain why some software developers are brash and stupid, others are mediocre and paralysed, while the best are confident, fearless and effective. Every time I bring this chart up in conversation, I wish I had a copy to reference. It’s easy to draw, but it always helps to have a link.
