In true Canadian style the federal government has handed the issue of gay marriage to a committee. Never mind that a Canadian court has “found that the restriction of legal marriage to heterosexuals is unconstitutional” (GAM) or that a majority of Canadians think that same-sex marriages should be recognised. Save the courts’ time and the taxpayers money and just recognise same-sex marriages already.
