Some years ago when I was in university, a friend asked me “Do you ever get the feeling that you’re living in a bad cyberpunk novel?” I feel that way now, more than ever, especially after reading the headline “Miss World riots escalate<\/a>“. Just when you thought that life on Earth was getting boring.<\/p>\n

Speaking of cyberpunk novels, I started reading Neuromancer<\/a> for the first time since I first read it some ten years ago. I remember being a little confused as to the plot and, luckily, can’t remember much of the story. It’s all new to me.
