The article, which goes on to tackle other words with shady and not-so-shady pasts, is in response to a letter the CBC received after its use of <q>mulatto<\/q> in <a href=\"\" title=\"'Musketeers' author's coffin carried to Pantheon\">covering the reburial of Alexandre Dumas<\/a>, who had a mixed ethnic background.
